That is why Bitfy developed, Bitfy Secure.

We created a solution that securely connects end-users with their financial institutions so that they can verify their identity quickly and safely. This verification process facilitates the KYC (Know Your Customer) as well as the AML (Anti Money Laundering) and CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) processes.

We have built the verification process with the Dual-Process method in mind. We achieve this by confirming the identity of the user via one of the following actions:

  • Information is received from a reliable source that includes the person's name and address and confirms that the name and address are those of the person.
  • Information from a reliable source that includes the person's name and date of birth, and then confirming that the name and date of birth are those of the person.
  • Information that includes the person's name and confirms that they have a deposit account.
